So I got a year older today.
A year ago on this very date, my darling danna bought me a fetal doppler as a birthday present. I can still remember the first time I heard those fast heartbeat from my belly; it gave me goosebumps and a whirlwind of emotions. Excited, nervous, joy, grateful and a whole lot of is this really happening?! at the back of my head.I was on cloud nine for the next few days and every single night that I listen to those horse galloping-like sound.
Today, I am reminded of those days I spent praying hard for what I have now. & that is to have my baby safe in my arms. Today, my heart is flooded with happiness and love.
& for that, I am thankful.
