It's the last few hours of 2018 guys! Hope this year has been nothing but great to all of you readers just as it was for me. Here to share highlights of each month in 2018 before the year ends!

The first time I brought Mini out to meet the rest of her BFFs! This was Hariz's first time returning SG for this year so of course a meet up is a must! Just one word to describe it : huru hara.
We ended up sitting in the nursing room most of the time lol.

Amazing view of fireworks from our room in KSL! This was during CNY and little did I know that the mall is closed during this period. Sis disappointed. 

We also flew to KL for a super short trip over the weekends in February.
Main agenda for this trip : Shop till I drop at Kenanga Mall.

My birthday month!

We had a stay at Sentosa Sofitel during the March holidays, where we had our family photoshoot.

We wanted to explore this new area at JB so we booked a two-nights stay at Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour. Love the hotel, can't say the same for the location.

Received my long service award in May. Will I make it to 10 years? hurhur we shall see..

Baby girl turned ONE! We had a mini birthday celebration for her at home and a photoshoot too!

Hands down the best thing that happened in 2018!!!!!!!! 

Ya Allah please please invite me to Your House again..

Second best thing in 2018. Praying inside Raudhah was an out-of-this-world feeling. I cried SOOO badly as soon as my feet touched the green carpets. I want to experience this all over again :'(

& last but not least, we had a four-nights stay at this lovely suite in Bali. One thing I love most about this place : GOJEK! Cheap cheap nice nice.

 I have a few exciting things in my to-do checklist for 2019. Praying hard everything will go the way they're planned InsyaAllah. Other than that, no big expectations for the new year, as always my goal is to be a better wife, mother, daughter and most of all, Muslimah.

Rindu..

It has been exactly two weeks since we step foot in this blessed city - Makkah al-Mukarramah. 

God knows how much I miss spending my time in this holy mosque. Oh Allah please invite us to be Your guests to Your House, over and over again :(

Mini's Updates - 14 Months

So I couldn't find time to write a proper entry cos I was too busy during the last week of school and the week full of meetings after that. Then the following week Danna & I went for our first Umrah with Mini (so excited to share on this!!) and now we're back for a few days before leaving for Bali next week, so I better finish what I've started here before it's 2019 :D

So yup! Last month's update!

Monster Inc's Boo spotted at Bodeiga Barbershop. My lil brother together with his two friends have opened up a barbershop near Clarke Quay and I am one super duper proud big sister!

Learned to say new word : Bubble.

New found love for blocks.

Giving the puppy eyes when we say NO to new toys. Drama game strong tau this girl.

We saw the Splash-N-Surf sign while walking aimlessly at Kallang Wave and decided to check it out. Of cos Mini got excited and ran towards the water play area. Thankful for NTUC at Level 1 so I just bought a cheap towel to clean her up.

730 days since...

You've been nothing but the best for me and I'm always so thankful to have you in my life. I love you so much Danna! Here’s ‘two’ many more years of adventures and memories with you 🖤

Mini's Milestones - 13 Months

It hit me recently that I really don't remember much about Mini's milestones until a new-Mummy friend of mine asked about Mini's milestone at a certain month. I literally had to ask her to wait while I scroll through my blog posts before answering her question. lolz.

Now that Mini is one, I really don't know how long I will be doing this monthly update. I mean, I don't even take as many pictures of her as I did before! But it's super nice reading back my past entries and remind myself just how much and extremely fast my little baby has grown. Soooo I'll probably do this until Mini #2 comes heheheh.

The day we brought her to Vivo and she got extremely excited when she saw this. &we had no choice but to buy that very expensive towel from Mothercare to clean Mini up with.

Mini's Milestones - 12 Months

This is sucha late update cos Mini just turned thirteen months yesterday :x

One year of wearing the same romper on every 11th woohoo! The size is actually meant for newborns to 3 months old but looks it goes wayyy beyond that for my Mini :p

Zara Sofia's First Birthday Party!

MY BABY GIRL IS ONE !!!!!

It really feels like just yesterday that I gave birth to you. (labour story blogged here!) Now you're this precious cutesy girl who understands the world around you a lot better as days go by which makes my world a whole lot better than ever before!

You know, before I was a mom, it baffles me seeing some parents going crazy over their kids' first birthday celebration. Some I know even spend extravagantly for a party their kids won't even remember.

When I became a mother. I started thinking about my firstborn's birthday party way before she was even born :p Who am I kidding.  Mom guilt is real and I don't wish to be haunted for eternity for not having a birthday celebration for my firstborn's first birthday. So yup, I ate my own words big time lol

Anyhoots, after much thoughts, Danna and I agreed on a simple shindig with little decoration, at the comfort of our home. I just rented a few items from Carousell to make the dessert table a lil #instagramworthy  & sent out less than 30 invites for our family and very close friends only!

Mini's Play: Aquarius Cove

Ever since my first (and huru hara) play date with Liza and her cutie Alisha some months back, I've been looking forward for Mini to start walking so that we can enjoy playing out together. After seeing how much she (and her mama lol) enjoyed the indoor playground at Changi Airport (blogged here)  and espesh now that she's running all around the place, it's time to plan another play date!

This time round we decided on........

I love how super convenient this place is! It's directly opposite Clarke Quay MRT Exit E & Clarke Quay Central. Yoga Movement, where I used to do religiously practise my yoga during my before-Mini-exists-days, is just opposite. That reminds me that I need to get back to the mat reallllly soon.

Anyhoots once you locate the building, you got to enter a restaurant (can't remember the name!) to get to the lift. Once you've reached level five, you will see this.

Yup free play for Mini! We went on a Sunday so it was two hours of play time for us.

The place is divided into two parts...

If you're planning to come here do be sure to check their website in advance to see if there's any party on that day cos if there is one, the playground will be closed

Of cos it didn't take Mini long to get herself comfortable.

Mini's Update - 11 Months

One more month before the big ONE.

Mini's Play: Singkids Teddy & Me

Danna and I just love hanging out at the airport. That place never fails to bring us back to our past travel adventures and at the same time reminds us of our countdown to our next (110 days to be exact!) Plus point: It's just two bus stop away from our house.

The airport really is our happy place and recently we've found another reason to come here often...

& that's all thanks to Teddy & Me indoor playground for mini! Located at basement 2 at Terminal 3. 

If I'm not wrong we paid $12 for mini and me, additional $ for danna and socks. Note to self : Next time bring your own socks so can save a few bucks!

Lucky for us there weren't a lot of kids around so it feels like we have the whole place to ourselves! 

Didn't take long for this babygirl to love this place. (& mama too! Esp the slide:p)

So unlike her mama who is afraid of balloons...

Mini is started to take her first few steps now and her proud mama cannot help but squeal with delight at her baby's every step. Seeing her climbing without my help is really one of the best feeling ever!

In most pictures danna and I looked more excited to be here than our little one hahaha.

Big fat kiss for Ayah for paying for everythanggg :p

Mini's Update - 10 Months

Monthly updates from now on is a two digit number. :')

I gotta admit, there are times when I look back at pictures of Mini and found myself having a hard time remembering what she was like as a baby. Perhaps it's due to the lack of sleep or juggling the love-hate relationship I have with motherhood, but somewhere along the line the time went by too quickly...

She used to hate tummy time when she was younger and now all wants to do is stand up all the time...

Once I left her alone in the living room while I clean up the kitchen. Got a mini heart attack when I came back and couldn't find her anywhere. Walked back to the kitchen and saw this -_-

It's been many months since we last put her in her baby rocker. Back then she can stay in there for hours staring at that thingy above her head. Oh if only I knew how simple it was back then....
